In April 2025, Simplifying Cleaning became a Corporate Member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), an independent professional and educational body dedicated to raising standards within the cleaning industry.
Our membership reflects our commitment to professional cleaning, safe working practices and continuous improvement. It keeps us connected to industry developments and supports our focus on delivering a consistent, carefully managed service.
Professional cleaning goes beyond how a space looks.
Choosing the right products, using equipment correctly, following safe methods and reducing the risk of cross-contamination all matter. These principles help shape our cleaning plans, staff instruction and day-to-day working practices, with colour-coded equipment and site-specific procedures supporting our team.
We also believe that standards need to be checked. Our own in-house audit system draws on BICSc standards for office environments and the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness for healthcare settings.
Detailed written reports, photographs and clear actions help us monitor results, identify improvements and provide support where it is needed.
We share these reports with our clients and welcome their feedback.
