1. Agreement
  • By booking our commercial carpet cleaning services, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services
  • We will provide carpet cleaning services at the Client’s premises as agreed in writing or by email. We reserve the right to reasonably amend the scope of works if required to ensure safety, quality, or suitability.

3. Pricing & Payment
  • All prices are agreed in advance and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service.
  • We accept payment by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.
  • Where payment is not received on completion, Simplifying Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 5% above the Bank of England base rate until payment is made in full.

4. Access, Preparation & Utilities
  • The Client must provide clear and safe access to all areas requiring cleaning.
  • The Client should remove fragile or valuable items from the cleaning area in advance.
  • The Client must ensure a suitable hot water source is available on-site for use during cleaning.
  • Where parking is required to carry out the service, suitable parking should be provided; otherwise, parking costs may be charged to the Client.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
  • Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the agreed service cost.

6. Liability & Limitations
  • While we use professional methods and products, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, spots, or odours.
  • Simplifying Cleaning Ltd will not be liable for pre-existing damage, shrinkage, fading, wear, or carpets/items unsuitable for cleaning.
  • The Client must notify us in advance of any known issues, including loose fittings, colourfastness concerns, or prior treatments.

7. Complaints
  • Any complaints must be reported to Simplifying Cleaning Ltd within 24 hours of completion of the service. We will investigate promptly and, if reasonable, re-clean the affected area at no additional cost.

8. Force Majeure
  • Simplifying Cleaning Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to events beyond its reasonable control.

9. Governing Law
  • These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
